A Journey of Craft, Culture, and Connection

Discover the soul of rural Rajasthan through handcrafted artistry, mindful travel, and deep conversations with our women artisans.

Distance Map

Project Connect is Ekatra’s invitation to travellers who seek meaning in their journeys. Tucked between Jaipur, Udaipur, and Pushkar, Kota is your next creative stop, peaceful, rooted in heritage, and alive with craft. A mindful pause from the tourist trail, where stories and colours come to life.

The Art of Making

Meet the founders, our team, and the women artisans behind Ekatra. Share stories, join hands-on workshops with DIY kits, block printing, and tie-dye, and take home creations that are playful, personal, and uniquely yours.

Culture Beyond Sightseeing

Experience Rajasthan’s heritage firsthand from weaving Kota Doria and block printing to celebrating festivals and savouring traditional flavours. Travel here is about living the culture, not just seeing it.

Meaningful Connections

Leave with more than souvenirs, leave with relationships, reflections, and a deeper understanding of mindful travel.

Minakshi and Aishwarya Jhawar, Founders of Ekatra

Meet Your Hosts!

Minakshi and Aishwarya Jhawar, a mother and daughter duo from Kota. Together they built Ekatra, a women-led brand that empowers homemakers to earn a living and tell their stories of strength.
Aishwarya is a designer with an eye for detail, while Minakshi is the true superwoman who brings heart and grit to everything she does. Beyond their work, they love talking about art, culture, spaces, and of course, making people try new food.
Through their eyes, Kota isn’t just a city, it’s a blend of history, warmth, and connection. They are passionate about sharing this with the world. And when you meet them, you’ll find two things for sure: open arms and a few really bad jokes that somehow make everything feel lighter.
