Day 1: Flavours, Crafts & Riverside Calm

Check-in at The Umed Bhawan Palace

Arrive at the royal residence and settle into your stay. Take a moment to unwind and soak in the regal charm before the day’s discoveries begin.

9:00 am: Kota’s morning ritual

Start your Kota trip with the city’s pride, Shambhu Ji ki Doodh Jalebi and Kota Kachori. Hot jalebis dipped in creamy milk and paired with crisp Kota kachori. Locals swear by it, and once you taste it, you’ll know why.

11:00 am: Garadia Mahadev and Mukundra Hills

  • Drive out to Garadiya Mahadev, where the Chambal River winds through deep cliffs.
  • Stand on the edge and take in the view, endless blue water, rocky valleys, and a calm you don’t find  anywhere else.

3:00 pm: Lunch: A plate full of Rajasthan

Relish a traditional Rajasthani thali, a food that feels like home. Simple, soulful, and made with love.

5:00 pm: Chambal Riverfront: Kota’s golden hour

Sunset walk at the Chambal Riverfront, where the river glows gold and the breeze feels calm itself with folk music, aarti, and laughter.

Overnight at Umed Bhawan Palace

Return to the palace for a peaceful night in royal comfort.

Day 2: Royals & Local Living

9:00 am: Breakfast at the Royal Palace

Royal breakfast at Umed Bhawan Palace, a morning wrapped in heritage.

11:00 am: Palace Walk 

  • Walk through the palace halls that echo with stories of Kota’s royal past.
  • Explore its art, courtyards, and quiet corners that still hold the charm of another time.
  • If you are lucky, you may even meet a member of the royal family and hear tales passed down through generations.

2:00 pm: Lunch at a local place

Savour an authentic local meal at a much loved city spot, where recipes are passed down through generations, and every bite feels like home.

3:00 pm: Ekatra handcraft workshop: Hands that tell stories 

End your journey at the Ekatra workshop, a space where craft meets connection. Try your hand at tie & dye or block printing with local women artisans. Create your own keepsake and carry a piece of Kotas’ soul back with you.
