A Month of Decisions Behind One Thoughtful Gift

A hamper takes minutes to open. But sometimes, it takes a month to create.

Our 3rd order from a client in Navi Mumbai was for 250 completely sustainable hampers.

The brief sounded straightforward a custom sleeve, notecard, journal, coaster, drawstring bag, soap, candle, letter card and a sustainability note highlighting Ekatra’s work with women artisans.

But the real work started after the brief.

We spent almost one month working on samples, micro-details and multiple options before the order went into production.

  • Different combinations were tried.
  • Packaging was refined.
  • Branding was adjusted.
  • Some ideas were changed completely.

Because when you're creating 250 hampers, even the smallest detail gets repeated 250 times.

And we didn't want to simply put sustainable products together and call it a sustainable hamper.

We wanted every element to feel intentional, useful and connected to the story behind Ekatra.

Then the hampers reached the client.

And we received a message that made all those rounds of sampling worth it:

“Absolutely loved the product, especially the ‘Stories of Impact’ label.”

That line stayed with us.

Because the Stories of Impact label wasn't just another piece of packaging. It helped the person receiving the hamper understand the people, craftsmanship and purpose behind the products.

And maybe that's what makes a gift memorable.

It’s not just about what’s inside the box.
It’s about the story they discover when they open it.

250 hampers delivered.

One month of work behind them.

And a feedback that reminded us why the little details matter.
